Grey Lady Maintenance Notice

Hy-Line's Grey Lady is headed to the shipyard for regularly scheduled maintenance on Monday, April 1st.

We will be operating Lady Martha, in her place, for approximately three weeks. She is a smaller boat; we cannot stress enough the importance of reservations during this time.

Additionally, it is always recommended that you make reservations as we are approaching a busier time of the season.

Grey Lady Wireless Update

More progress is being made to establish Wi-Fi service aboard Hy-Line's Grey Lady.

This week, the installation of land components began along with the hardware onboard Lady Martha. We will begin the testing phase once complete.

In addition, hardware will be installed onboard Grey Lady during her shipyard period (which starts Monday, April 1). When she returns to service, further testing will be done.

SSA Resumes High-Speed Ferry Service April 10

The Steamship Authority recently released the following announcement regarding the restart of its high speed ferry service:

WELCOME BACK TO SERVICE - M/V IYANOUGH

Our high-speed passenger ferry, the M/V Iyanough, will be returning to serve the 26 mile route between Hyannis and Nantucket beginning April 10, 2013 through December 31, 2013. Reservations for the high-speed ferry can be made online at http://www.SteamshipAuthority.com or by calling (508) 495-FAST (3278).

This state-of-the-art vessel also boasts the latest in passenger comfort and amenities, including free Wi-Fi access (standard on all Steamship Authority’s vessels and at all terminals). You’ll also enjoy flat-panel LCD TVs throughout the ship, a snack bar featuring beer, wine and mixed drinks, as well as a variety of hot and cold menu items. The main passenger deck of the M/V Iyanough is fully accessible, including the rest rooms and snack bar. Access to the M/V Iyanough’s main passenger deck is by the transfer bridge that is used to board all passengers onto the ferry.

We will be celebrating the M/V Iyanough’s return to service April 10, 2013 with a “Welcome Back” celebration. Everyone who travels on board the M/V Iyanough will enjoy free food and have a chance to win a round-trip ticket for two on our high-speed ferry. Consider a trip to Nantucket on Wednesday, April 10th to join in on the fun.
