Hy-Line Commuter Books

Effective March 11, 2013 Hy-Line's Grey Lady Commuter Book rate will increase to $275.00 per book.

Commuter Books are available for purchase at the Hy-Line ticket offices or by calling (800) 492-8082 or (508) 228-3949 at the current rate of $269.00 until March 10th.

Steamship Authority Update

The M/V Nantucket will be out of service due to repairs requiring the vessel to be dry docked through at least Friday. The freight vessel M/V Sankaty will be replacing the M/V Nantucket for its scheduled trips starting on Wednesday February 20th at 2:45pm. There will be limited passenger capacity and amenities on these trips.

As a result of the vessel switch, the 10:45am Vineyard Haven to Woods Hole trips for Thursday February 21st and Friday February 22nd will be designated as “Hazardous” trips and will not be available for vehicle or walk on passengers.

Ferry Service Update

Hy-Line will resume ferry service on Sunday, February 10, with its 9:10 a.m. high-speed run from Hyannis to Nantucket. The 6:30 a.m. run to Nantucket and 7:45 a.m. return trip to Hyannis have been cancelled. The Steamship Authority will also resume its ferry service on Sunday.

STEAMSHIP AUTHORITY UPDATE


Based on the latest forecast from the National Weather Service, the Steamship Authority anticipates that service between Nantucket and Hyannis may be suspended as early as 9:15am on Friday and may not resume until possibly Sunday. Service between Martha’s Vineyard and Woods Hole may be significantly impacted on Friday afternoon through Saturday.

The Steamship Authority advises its customers to check the Authority’s website for further updates.
